FOS Photography Group (PHOTO SIG) — The first meeting will be on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at 10:00 am in the Computer Lab in the Activity Center. Sign up sheets are available in the Computer Lab until all spaces are filled. Hank Nelson, moderator, is planning to help you take your photography to the next level, whether you have a camera or a phone. He will be assisted by Kirsten Danielson. To join the group, you need to be a member of the Computer Club. Membership is $20 per person each season, or $30 per household. Hank plans to discuss cameras, lenses, composition, lighting, storage of photos, printing options, and other topics that are of interest to the group. If possible, there will be a few field trips with short hikes for landscape photography.
FOS Apple Group (Apple SIG) — The first meeting will be on Thursday January 4, 2024 at 12:30 pm in the Computer Lab in the Activity Center. The class will meet on Thursdays. The first class will begin at 12:30 and last until 1:30. From 1:30 to 2:00, those in the class may remain if they have individual questions. Or, those attending the 2:00 to 3:30 session can come early for individual help. Kathy Rath will be the moderator. The goal of this group is to share information about, learn more about, and answer questions about iPhones, iPads, and MAC computers. To join this group, you need to be a member of the Computer Club. Membership is $20 per person each season, or $30 per household. The needs of the members of this group will determine what topics will be discussed, demonstrated and shared.
